Production- Finalizing Script and Sharing

Script changes:

Going into this project, we were aware that the script may require some changes along the way. After going over what we already had written, we came to the realization that some of the elements we had on paper would have been close to impossible to execute. For example, things like the moving body bag, the additional arresting scene, and the overhead Ariel shot. It would've been cool and creative to have executed these things, but it would've brought so many complications the day of filming.

Due to this, we've made a few changes in our script, keeping the tone of the story intact and making the shooting process smoother. The body bag will now remain still, the daughter's arrest scene is shorter, and the overhead Ariel shot is replaced with a simple camera tilt. All these corrections help us ensure the film opener is kept under a minute.

Costume:

Now that we've casted a killer, we can begin moving forward with sharing the revised script so the actor can familiarize themselves with the attitude and lines of the character. We have also placed the order for the costuming, and we will receive everything with time to make sure it fits before filming.

Breakdown of the shots:

After finalizing the script, the next step was to plan out all our camera shots, angles and mise-en-scéne details for all five of the scenes. This breakdown covers all the important parts of our film, such as editing techniques, mise-en-scéne analysis using proper film terminology. The high level of details implemented into this document will significantly help in the filming process.
